It is no secret I’ve been enchanted with ancient Egypt since I was a child. But I still get shivers when I picture myself returning and entering the tombs of the deceased, and reading the writing that spoke to others long before either you or I walked the earth. To feel that same stone, breathe the same arid air, and read the same stories in images upon the walls.
I’ll be taking a boat ride along the Nile, traveling with renowned archaeologists and revisiting many of the ancient sites from my books – the famous and the obscure. There’s no better way to tell the story than to experience and feel it internally and externally – to trod the same ground and sail the same river.
